Expand Seaford’s GP services at Dane Road

Seaford’s health services are under huge strain, and this is only exacerbated by a lack of proper space in town for local health services. Local Liberal Democrats are calling for Seaford Medical Practice and the neighbouring Richmond Road car park to be redeveloped to provide the space for local NHS staff to work in, and offer opportunities to work with colleagues in mental health and social care services.

Our MP, who is a government health minister has failed to take action. She has promised a “new health hub” but there’s no sign of action, and she won’t meet with local councillors.

It’s time this was sorted and Seaford got the health services it deserves.

Lib Dem candidate to be the MP in Seaford, James MacCleary, said, “The Seaford Medical Practice site on Dane Road can be redeveloped as a modern health hub. In my time as leader of our local District Council I made it clear to the local NHS that the council would give them the adjacent Richmond Road car park to make the footprint of the site large enough to accommodate a new facility.”
